Since 1985, Lady Thai's family has lived and worked in this secluded valley, surrounded by limestone mountains and accessible only by boat through a natural cave.
For decades, the family has maintained a largely self-sufficient way of life — growing food, raising animals, and living closely with the land and changing seasons.
During the rainy season, rising water can leave the valley isolated from the outside world. Yet family life continues, shaped by nature rather than tourism.
